Liu 1945, Paratype of Vibrissaphora boringii Liu, 1945 "The type was collected by P. L. Luh back of Ta-nge-sze, Moun Omei, during the rainy night of August 21, 1933. In March, 1940, two males were obtained from a farmer who dug them out when plowing a cornfield on a hillside near P'i-lu-tien; four matured females and a young female were collected around Ta-nge-sze between the end of July and the end of August 1940."
