  • Type #15974 is a paratype, according to Type Book (PDP - 2002). Locality data is very likely incorrect. Reakirt received at various times considerable material from Lorquin, Jr., a dealer in San Francisco, who sent him indiscriminately examples from the Philippines, California and Europe not accurately ticketed as to locality, hence such mistakes as the above. See Strecker (1900), Lepidoptera, Rhopaloceres and Heteroceres, Supplement 3, p. 20 (RLH, 2018).
