Garrison 1994, page 335, Voucher of Argia translata Hagen in Selys, 1865 At least one other male and a female with the same data were available to Hagen at the time of the original description, but I cannot find those specimens. Pending their discovery, and due to the missing abdominal appendages, I am refraining from designating the syntype as lectotype.
