  • 1530 hrs. Road from Parque Nacional Valle Nuevo to San Jose de Ocoa. Transitional humid broadleaf to dry forest. Soil and leaf litter dry, some lianas present. Tallest trees ~15 m. Well developed understory. Nest in dead stick suspended from ground in tree ~2 m from ground. ~1.5 m long, 2 cm in diameter. Nest chamber ~5 mm in diameter.
