  • 1400 hrs. Reserva Cientifica Loma Guaconejo, trail north of Sendero Valentin. Dense secondary broadleaf moist forest. Many small trees (~15 cm in diameter) with interspersed larger trees. Lianas sparse and epiphytes nearly absent. Canopy mostly closed, tallest trees ~20m high. E slope. Foragers at Pecan Sandies cookies in leaf litter, left out for ~1 hr.
