Scudder 1876, page 259, [type status needs research] of Labidura lithophila Scudder 1876 The specimens PALE-4135, PALE-424, and PALE-425 all have type labels. Fossilworks lists PALE-424 as the Holotype (http://www.fossilworks.org/cgi-bin/bridge.pl?a=collectionSearch&collection_no=119496&is_real_user=1). Type description specifically mentions the specimen is female and provides measurements. A specialist will be required to resolve this. Papers about the revision of this taxon do not mention the type specimen explicity.
