  • In: Sb k Akad Wiss Wien, 76:386-387. Considered STs by Rosen & Bailey (1963:49); but they (and Jordan & Evermann) list Aspinwall (Colon) as the type locality. There is a Quebrada San Pablo in the vicinity of Colon.

  • Unclear whether this is referring to San Pablo River, or the San Pablo on the Chagres River. [MHS; 2020-04-13] Steindachner's description of P. boucardi suggests that he and Mr. Boucard collected these specimens at Aspinwall (Colon) there appears to be a Quebrada San Pablo outside of Colon.
