Roch 1955, page 137, Other Useful Citation of Teredo juttingi Roch, 1952 "Moll mentions in his manuscripts a ,,T. (Dactyloteredo) juttingi (sic!) Roch." This information is probably based on a letter from me to Moll about the new species I found in the Dutch museum material from the East Indies [...] Due to the above description of T. juttingae from the Dutch East Indies and the Philippines, the erroneously published noun nudum "T. juttingi" by Moll expires and is from now on to be regarded as a synonym for the new species T. juttingae, see above as far as it is Indomalayic material, while T. juttingi from the Congo is a synonym for T. digitalis."
